WE CAN ONLY TAKE 30 TRAVELERS ON THIS TOUR.
We could only get a guaranteed 15 rooms at one of our Alaskan resort hotels at this time.  This means we can
only take approximately 30 travelers with us.  Once the 15 rooms are taken, we’ll have to place all other
reservations on our “waiting list” in case the hotel can assign more rooms to us as other groups may cancel,
etc. We already have 5 reservations from couples who signed up a few days ago when we were able to tell
them the actual date of this trip. There are only 20 seats left. Don’t let this one get away
from you. Call day or night to make your reservations.

·        Saturday:  May 14th      Departing Camden.     This morning we will depart Camden at 7 a.m. with
Chicago as our destination tonight. Nobody likes long airline flights, so, to make the flight shorter, and to save
money on the longer airline tickets, we’ve decided to travel by motorcoach to Chicago the first day, overnight
here, and fly non stop out of Chicago on Sunday. This will allow us to keep your cost lower and offer us a
more direct and comfortable flight. (Dinner included tonight in Chicago)

·        Sunday:  May 15th       Anchorage, Alaska.     This morning we will fly out of Chicago arriving in
Anchorage this afternoon where we will overnight. Upon our arrival at the Anchorage Airport, our motorcoach
will pick us up and whisk us to our hotel for the evening.    Our hotel is in beautiful downtown Anchorage. Now
settle in for a good night’s rest because tomorrow we’ll start these long-awaited adventures.
(Breakfast Included Today)

·        Monday:  May 16th      Talkeetna    Today we’ll motorcoach to the rail depot and board the luxurious
glass-domed railcars of the McKinley Explorer and journey along the base of the spectacular Alaska Range.
We’ll enjoy breakfast in the comfortable dining area while the landscape unfolds before our very eyes.
Talkeetna was the Alaska village that the TV show “Northern Exposure” was patterned after. A very rustic
town, and, yes there just might be a large moose wandering through at any time. Tonight we’ve planned a
sumptuous dinner at the popular Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge. (Meals Today: Breakfast & Dinner)

·        Tuesday: May 17th             Fairbanks        Pack in a good hearty breakfast before we’re off for a day of
sightseeing adventures.  This morning we’ve planned some free time so you can enjoy some optional activities
or tours such as a helicopter sightseeing ride.  You may just want to sit on the large deck and soak up quite
possibly the most awesome view of Mt. McKinley in the state. This afternoon we’ll board our motorcoach for a
back roads tour of Alaska while we travel to Fairbanks. We’ll overnight in a beautiful
Fairbanks for the next two nights.  (Meals Today: Breakfast)

·        Wednesday:   May 18th   Fairbanks  Over breakfast we’ll be sharing stories about our yesterday’s
adventures and waiting with excitement what’s in store today.  Today adventures includes gold panning at the
El Dorado Gold Mine, a miner’s lunch at the Gold Dredge # 8 and an authentic sternwheeler cruise on the
Chena and Tanana rivers.  Then we’ll take a drive to North Pole, Alaska and stop at Santa Claus’s House.
Tonight we’ve planned an outdoor Salmon Bake for dinner. (Meals Today:  Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

●        Thursday:  May 19th   Denali        This morning we’ll board the motorcoach to be transported to the rail
station where we again board the luxurious glass-domed railcars of the McKinley Explorer as we journey along
the base of the spectacular Alaska Range past Mt. McKinley to Denali National Park.  Breakfast will be served
to our group in the comfortable dining area while the landscape unfolds before us.  Upon arrival at Denali Park
we’ll again board a sightseeing bus for a 7 hour Denali Park Tundra tour.  Watch for Alaskan wildlife (Bears,
Caribou, Dall Sheep, Moose & Wolves) as we explore the rugged Denali Park. We’ll rest easy tonight at a
deluxe Denali Park hotel enjoying the beautiful mountain surroundings. (Meals Today:  Breakfast & Box Lunch)

●        Friday:   May 20th           Alyeska           After another delicious Alaskan breakfast, we’ll travel south by
luxury motorcoach with stops at the Iditarod headquarters, Alaska Native Heritage Center and the Alaska
Wildlife Conservation center in Anchorage.  I cannot describe our hotel for tonight and tomorrow night except
to say it is unbelievable.  Alyeska Resort Lodge is a four-diamond hotel which has got to be seen to be
believed.  Check out the website shown above. We’ll overnight here for the next two days.
(Meals Today:  Breakfast & Lunch)

Saturday:  May 21st           Alyeska          We’ll have some free time to explore this beautiful hotel and its
grounds after breakfast before it’s back on the coach.  We’ll head by motorcoach to Whittier, Alaska for a
cruise in the calm protected waters of Prince William Sound. We’ll visit a working fish hatchery and cruise
through Esther Passage before viewing numerous glaciers of Harriman Fjord and Barry Arm, stopping at
Surprise Glacier, all the while, keeping eyes open for wildlife.  Lunch is included onboard boat.  Our “Farewell
to Alaska” group dinner is back at the Alyeska Resort Hotel.  You think the hotel is beautiful - just wait until
you taste dinner.  (Meals Today:  Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

●        Sunday:   May 22nd   Up – Up - & Away   Head ‘em up and move ‘em out.  Sadly, it’s time to return to
the airport and head home. We’ll depart Anchorage arriving during the early evening in Chicago.

●        Monday:   May 23rd   Camden   We’ll depart Chicago returning to Camden at approximately 6 p.m. Just
wait until you can get those photos developed and show your friends the trip of a lifetime
