MONDAY—JUNE 29

Departing from Camden, we’ll spend today getting to know each other and letting the excitement build as we
travel thru Kentucky into Missouri.  The Gateway To The West, the St. Louis Arch, will greet us about lunch
time.  As we pass thru St. Louis you’ll know that we’re officially on our way.  We’ll overnight in St. Joseph, MO.
Jesse James was killed here.  We’ll see his home before we leave. (Meals included today: D). You will see a
“Meals” guide at the end of the day’s events.  “B” is breakfast,  “L” is lunch, & “D” is dinner.  Today, for
example, dinner is included in your tour price.

TUESDAY – JUNE 30

After a delicious breakfast at our hotel this morning, we’ll point our motor coach north and travel up thru Iowa
and into South Dakota.  Hundreds of thousands of acres of corn and their famous “amber waves of grain”
wave at us as we travel to our  destination for the evening. Tonight we’ll stay at a beautiful Lodge on the
banks of the “Wide Missouri”. This should be a  special evening as we’ve arranged for an old fashioned
“steaks on the grill” catered cookout  on the river’s banks.  Now, settle in and get a good night’s rest because
tomorrow’s a day full of  adventure.  (Meals:  B & D)

WEDNESDAY – JULY 1

This morning we’ll enjoy another hot breakfast before we depart for The Badlands of South Dakota.  Bring
plenty of film.  After our tour of this rugged northwestern terrain, we’ll stop for lunch at the world famous Wall
Drug Store in Wall, SD. Featured on all major TV networks, popular magazines and newspapers worldwide, it
was the place to stop for free ice water during the dust bowl and the Great Depression. After lunch it’s on to
Mt. Rushmore. Later we’ll visit the unique western town of Keystone, SD where we’ll check into our
comfortable hotel for the evening. Even the guys will want to buy souvenirs here. (Meals:  B)

THURSDAY & FRIDAY – JULY 2 & 3

This morning after breakfast we’ll start our trek to Seattle.  We’ll spend Thursday night in Billings, Montana
and Friday night in Couer de Alene, Idaho.. Traveling thru South Dakota, Wyoming, Idaho, Montana and
Washington is simply mind-boggling.  There’s something new at each turn of the road – hills, valleys, rock
formations, rivers, streams, western towns and the Rocky Mountains.  The Bitter-Roots in Idaho and Mt.
Rainier in Washington are also highlights of these two days.  (Meals:  B – both days)

SATURDAY – JULY 4

Framed by Puget Sound and the World’s Fair Space Needle, entering Seattle is unlike anything you’ve ever
seen.  And with all of the excitement of tomorrow being “Cruise Day”  you might be “Sleepless In Seattle”
tonight.  (Sorry, I just had to put that in.) (Meals:  B)

SUNDAY – JULY 5

Today’s the day.  We’ll head over to the port early this afternoon and board our home away from home for the
next -8- days.  Dinner this evening is on board the ship.  Just go to your room and unpack.  No more luggage
to worry about for the next -8- days.  Just be sure to on the the deck about 4 p.m. and watch Seattle disappear
as we begin our cruise.  (Meals:  b – Before Boarding - Remember, all meals are included on the cuirse ship.)

MONDAY – JULY 6

We’ll sailed all night and will continue sailing all day entering the beautiful Inside Passage.  This is a good day
to get to know the ship and learn where all the nearly -15- restaurants and other shops and features are.  But
don’t stay inside.  Enjoy the outstanding scenery of the Inside Passage.

TUESDAY – JULY 7

Today we’ll visit Juneau, Alaska’s capitol city.  Shop the rustic shops in town or how about signing up for the
optional opportunities available such as dog sledding, kayaking, rafting, biking, hiking, go for a flight on a
plane or helicopter, or take the Mt. Robert’s Tramway for a great spot to
shoot a souvenir photo of our ship in port.

WEDNESDAY – JULY 8

Skagway is my favorite port city.  Another rustic village, we can peek into every store from the Trail Bench to
Lynch & Kennedy’s old dry goods store.  Visit the Red Onion Saloon, with its honky-tonk piano and costumed
barmaids for some local color.  Have lunch in the village or go back on board the ship for your lunch.
Consider booking the White Pass & Yukon Railway.  Sit back and take in the spectacular scenery aboard an
old-fashioned parlor car traveling thru tunnels and across trestles to view remote valleys, Bridal Veil Falls,
Inspiration Point and more.  It’s known as one of the Scenic Railways of the World.

THURSDAY – JULY 9

Today we’ll enter the Sawyer Glacier area.  This will probably be the most memorable day on board.  It’s
called “Calving” when huge chunks of ice splits off a glacier and crashes in the sea, and the sound is like
thunder from a Tennessee summer thunderstorm.  You catch it on film and hope you got a good picture, but
wait a bit and it will happen again and again, and you’ll see it upclose and personal from the decks of our ship.

FRIDAY - JULY 10

We’ll arrive in Ketchikan about 7 a.m. this morning departing at 3 p.m. this afternoon.  You’ve heard of the
village with all the totem poles?  So much to see and do here during your free time. You can travel to Totem
Bight State Park to see the world’s foremost stand of authentic native totems, or maybe visit historic Saxman
Village to experience the traditional song and dance of Alaska’s Native Americans.  Dare you sign on for a
“floatplane” aerial tour of the breathtaking Misty Fjord National Monument?

SATURDAY JULY 11

No visit to the Inside Passage is complete without a stop Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.  Tonight about 10
p.m. we’ll set sail again and spend another complete night at sea traveling thru the Inside Passage before
arriving back in Seattle about 8 a.m. on Sunday.

SUNDAY – JULY 12/ SUNDAY – JULY 26

Our cruise may be over but our vacation is not.  We’ve got a lot more to see and do as we point our
motorcoach toward home.  Our return travels will gives us opportunity to view the Great Northwest from a
different and more exciting angle.  We’ll overnight our first night again  in Idaho.  Monday will find us in Billings,
Montana; Tuesday in Rapid City, South Dakota; Wednesday in Chamberlain, South Dakota and Thursday in
Kansas City, MO.  Friday will have us arriving in Camden around 7 p.m. (Meals:  See Below)
