Look At All We’ve Got Planned For You This Week!

We’ll travel on our luxury motorcoach with reclining seats, large picture windows, VCR monitor, PA system,
and, an on board rest room for your comfort.  Our hotels will always be first class since we stay at Three &
Four Star rated hotel properties such as Ameri-Suites, Hampton Inn & Suites, Holiday Inn, Sheraton &
Marriott properties & Drury Inn & Suites, etc. Most meals are included in your tour price, and, you can book
your reservation in confidence, because with our optional Travel Protection Coverage, should you have to
cancel for a covered illness or other covered family emergency, you can get a full refund with no
deductibles.  More about this later-first let’s take a look at all the adventures we’ve planned for you.

●     TUESDAY:    OKLAHOMA CITY        Departing from Camden at 7 a.m., we’ll spend today getting to
know each other and letting the excitement build as we travel thru Arkansas on our way to Oklahoma City
where we will overnight. We’ll visit the site of the Murrah Federal Building bombing before settling in the
evening. (Meals: D). (You will see a “Meals” guide at the end of the day’s events.  “B” is breakfast,  “L” is
lunch, & “D” is dinner.  Today, for example, dinner is included in your tour price.)

●     WEDNESDAY:  ALBUQUERQUE         After a delicious breakfast at our hotel, we’ll point our motor
coach westward and travel into New Mexico.  If you love western scenery, you’re going to really enjoy
today’s travels. You’ll even get to see the humorus and famous Cadillac Ranch.  We’ll overnight in
Albuquerque. Now, settle in and get a good night’s rest because tomorrow is
full of sightseeing & adventure.  (Meals:  B & D)

●     THURSDAY:   FLAGSTAFF: This morning we’ll enjoy another hot breakfast before we depart for an
exciting day of sightseeing.  Soon after leaving our hotel we’ll arrive at the beautiful area called the
“Painted Desert”.  We will have “photo stops” here, of course.  From the Painted Desert we’ll enter another
wonder of nature, the “Petrified Forest”.  Again, plenty of  “photostops” where we can actually touch the
fallen trees that have been petrified and preserved, for millions of years.  We’ll also take a stop at the
famous Meteor Crater.  Wow, what a sink hole!  Dinner tonight is at Black Bart’s Saloon & Dance Hall.
Keep your boots on, but check your holster at the door; and if you “fancy” one of the pretty Dance Hall
girls, well, you just might have to answer to Black Bart himself.
We’ll overnight in Flagstaff.  (Meals:  B & D)

●   FRIDAY:  ST. GEORGE, UT        As they say, “You ain’t seen nothing yet”!  After yesterday’s collection
of scenery and attractions – what’s next?  Anything scheduled today would have a tough act to follow, but
what you’ll see today might just be more beautiful than anything you’ve ever seen before.  We’ll leave
Flagstaff just after breakfast for the Grand Canyon for an exciting sightseeing adventure on the Grand
Canyon’s South Rim. Bring lots of film.
Tonight we’ll rest in our comfortable hotel in St. George, UT.  (Meals: B & D).

  ●    SATURDAY:     SPRINGDALE, UT     We’ll start today’s unbelievable adventures by first visiting
Bryce Canyon National Park, truly one of the most spectacular scenic wonders of the world.  The
formations within the park, called Hoodoos, are the creation of wind and water erosion over eons of time.
Iron oxidizing within the rock causes the natural orange and red hues that color these formations.  Later
today we’ll see the red and white sandstone cliffs of Zion Canyon National Park.  In sheer magnitude and
color, Zion is very likely one of the most awe-insuring national parks IN THE WORLD. You’ve got to see it
to believe it.   We’ll overnight in Springdale, UT. (Breakfast & dinner included today.)

●      SUNDAY:     MONUMENT VALLEY, UT    Today’s adventures include seeing “rills” & a visit to
Kanab, UT.  John Wayne, James Arness and most other actors stayed at the Perry Lodge in Kanab when
they made their movies in the area. Remember the “water hole” where the Lone Ranger and Tonto would
stop and talk?  You’ll see it. We’ll also stop at the Frontier Movie Town and see original movie sets. Then it’
s off to Lake Powell & Page, AZ where we’ll have lunch.  Planet of the Apes, James Bond and other
movies were filmed here. Entering the Navajo Indian Reservation we’re off to Monument Valley where we’ll
have a steak & chicken cookout tonight for dinner, right there in the reservation,
grilled and served by Navajo Indians.
A 4WD vehicle tour of the valley will show you those beautiful rock formations you’ve seen in movies.  Our
driving tour will be down the same unpaved road that the stagecoach took during John Wayne’s original
black and white movie Stagecoach. Be sure to make a picture of the Indian posing on his horse on the cliff,
just for you.  Our local guide and 4WD driver will be one of the Navajo tribe members.  We’ll overnight
directly in the Navaho Reservation. (Breakfast & dinner included today.)

 ●     MONDAY:       MOAB, UT.     Now it’s on to Arches National Park, Canyonland National Park, Dead
Horse National Park (where Thelma & Louise road off the cliff) and more. You’ve seen these beautiful
arches and monument in movies and TV commercials forever.  You just won’t believe how much more
beautiful they are in person.  We’ll overnight & have a Cowboy style steak & chicken outdoor BBQ on a
“Dude Ranch” in Moab. (Breakfast & dinner included today).

 ●      TUESDAY:      VAIL & DENVER, CO  The beauty and scenery will stay with us all day today as we
leave Moab and drive over the Colorado Rockies and thru the scenic town of Vail enroute to Denver,
Colorado. (Breakfast & dinner included today.)

 ●      WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY:   KANSAS CITY, MO & CAMDEN, TN  (Wednesday)  How quickly the
hill country becomes western plains as we travel from Colorado thru Kansas and into Missouri where we’ll
overnight Wednesday in Kansas City. Then (Thursday) we’ll depart Kansas City with an estimated arrival
time in Camden at approximately 6 p.m. Thursday. During these two days we’ll have time to catch a nap,
watch movies, play games, and give away door prizes. (Breakfast & dinner included Saturday)  (Breakfast
included Sunday)
