Reid Bell will again be leading you on a wonderful trip of a lifetime visiting exciting cities and ports. We will
depart Camden & travel by motorcoach to the Nashville airport to board our flight to Sydney, Australia.

Time Zones

Time zones are  quite unusual as we travel to Australia.  For example, we will have an overnight flight to
Sydney, but we must leave two days earlier to get there “the next morning”.  And, when we depart Sydney we
will gain that time back.  For example, if we leave Sydney around 4 p.m. we will arrive in Nashville one and
one half hours later the same day.

So, our cruise sails on November 10th.  We must fly out of Nashville on the evening of the 7th.  Upon arrival
the next morning (on the 9th – ain’t that weird?) we will check into a local hotel to rest before we board the
ship for our sailing on November 10th.  That’s why our tour dates look a bit confusing.

LOOK AT THE GREAT PORT CITIES YOU WILL VISIT DURING THIS TRIP

•        SYDNEY
We will, of course, be flying in and out of Sydney.  We will take a group tour of Sydney
with the motor coach company we use to transport us to and from our ship.

•        ISLES OF PINES – NEW CALIDONIA
This tiny island is huge on adventure.  Only 11 miles long by 8.6 miles wide you might want to pedal around to
discover its hidden treasures and meet the “locals”.  Souvenir shoppers will find a great selection of island
keepsakes but just remember that islanders love their siestas and the shops usually close for a bit in early
afternoon.  You may want to grab a warm spot on the sandy beach and join them

•        LIFOU – LOYALTY ISLAND
There are a number of ways to experience the rich marine life of Lifou – get up close and personal on a scuba
diving jaunt, try pleasure boating or experience the thrill of the hunt on a deep-sea fishing excursion. On
shore, Lifou’s forests offer fascinating nature walks.

•        NOUMEA – NEW CALIDONIA
The West Coast of Noumea is considered cattle country, so saddle up and explore the secluded beach or
misty mountain range on the back of a horse, cowboy style. You can easily imagine what exploring this natural
beauty was like for ancient tribes.  It’s even easier when you paddle down the peaceful rivers on a traditional
Melanesian outrigger canoe.   Like to windsurf? This is a “hot spot” for the locals and world competitors alike
so grab a board and join them.  Like to shop?  Think of yourself in
France as you shop “Parisian” style but with palm trees.

•        VILA - VANUATU
Visit the National Museum and learn about Vanuatu flora and fauna at the Secret Garden then finish your tour
by visiting Mama’s Arts and Crafts market.  You might want to take the Round Island safari tour then take a
walk through the rainforest to Iarofa Village where you can experience seeing the time-honored art of
firewalking.   Whether you like to swim, snorkel or neither, don’t miss the unique opportunity to see the
abundant underwater reef life from the Glass Bottom Boat. Or how about a breath-taking flight over the
harbour to see lush rainforest and palm-fringed beaches.

Dozens Of Optional Shore Tours Are Available In Each City/Port.
