“Christmas At Barbara’s House*” Tour
COMPLETE WITH SINGING TOUR GUIDES AND SINGING WAITERS AT LUNCH
Wednesday, December 19, 2012
Only minutes from downtown Nashville but miles from ordinary, Fontanel Mansion is a 27,000 square foot log
home on 136 acres of pristine land formerly owned by Country Music Hall of Fame member Barbara
Mandrell*. Nashville’s only country music mansion tour, Fontanel gives visitors a sneak peek into the lives of
country music greats by providing a truly interactive experience.
This is one of the most beautiful log homes in the world. And, while enjoying this log masterpiece, you will be
entertained by personal stories of the Mandrell family along with other incredible stories of other artists that
only music insiders have beard.
Barbara and Ken had family and entertaining for all ages in mind when they built this magnificent home. If
these logs could talk they would tell the tale of the guests that once stayed here (Dick Clark, Minnie Pearl,
Eunice Shriver, Bob Hope and Oprah Winfrey, just to name a few). You’re invited to strum Buck Owen’s
guitar, try on Kenny Chesney’s tour jacket and eat “crackers” in Barbara’s bed.
Throughout this tour you will be led by storytellers and musicians (sometimes Barbara’s daughter, Jamie, is
one of the singing guides).
After touring the home, we’ll have reservations in the beautiful Café Fontanella on the grounds
for a delicious lunch.
We’ll leave Camden Wednesday morning from our departure location at the Wal Mart parking lot on Highway
641 in Camden and travel on our new deluxe, luxury motor coach (BIG RED ) with reclining seats, large
picture windows and an on-board rest room for your comfort.
