And, our cruise ship is the beautiful Norwegian Cruise Lines’

Pride of America

This cruise ship features all of the latest luxuries and comforts, and we’re guaranteed 10 BALCONY
staterooms.   The Pride of America is the latest example of the best possible amenities in today’s luxury liners.
Three pools, four hot tubs, spa & fitness center, golf pro shop, jogging and walking trails, golf driving net,
tennis and volleyball courts, outdoor chess, internet café, library, Old Diamond Head auditorium with Las
Vegas style entertainment and shopping galore at the Newbury Street Shops.  There’s so much to do on
board, it’s hard to leave the ship when we reach port.

If you like to eat, take a good look at your restaurant choices. You might like the Skyline Restaurant with its
1930’s atmosphere, or the Liberty Restaurant with a Colonial Days design.  You’ll find me often in the Lazy J
Texas Steakhouse with the Texas décor.  Try them all, including the Asian Fusion Restaurant with the Oriental
design and fun way of preparing your food right at your table.  Next let’s try the Jefferson’s Bistro inspired by
Thomas Jefferson’s home, Monticello, and then the Cadillac Diner (Get ready to rock ‘n’ roll) or Little Italy, so
authentic you’ll think you’re in New York City.

You Can Always Eat Free,
Including On A Cruise Ship.
Eat around the clock if you want to:  We won’t tell!

FLIGHT DETAILS

The typical airline route from Nashville to Honolulu is to fly to Atlanta and change planes for Honolulu.  That’s
a lot of flying time so we’re doing it different.

We’re taking our motorcoach to Dallas, like we did last year, and we will fly to and from Honolulu & Dallas, a
much shorter and more comfortable flight.

This also gives us the opportunity to “add-on” a mini-tour of the Dallas-Ft. Worth area.  More details of this
tour are in the day-by-day schedule which follows.

TOUR HIGHLIGHTS

We’ll Leave Camden on Thursday, February 28th and travel to Dallas where we will overnight for our flight to
Honolulu on Friday, March 1st

Upon arrival in Honolulu Friday afternoon, we’ll be met by our island motorcoach service who will transport us
to our luxury oceanfront Waikiki Beach hotel for the evening.  This afternoon is “free time” to relax on the
beach and watch the waves and start your souvenir shopping early.

Saturday morning, after a delicious oceanfront breakfast at our hotel, we’ll be transported to our luxury cruise
ship where we’ll spend the next 8 days and 7 nights touring and exploring the Hawaiian Islands.  We’ll cruise
out of Honolulu at 7 p.m. Saturday evening & return to Honolulu on Saturday, April 1st where we will be
transported back to our same luxury beachfront hotel right on Waikiki Beach for the evening.  That afternoon
we will take a tour out of Honolulu to the Polynesian Cultural Center &
Park and enjoy an authentic Hawaiian Luau.

Sunday, before we depart Hawaii we’ve arranged a tour of Honolulu & Pearl Harbor.

NOW, LET’S TAKE A LOOK AT OUR CRUISE

SATURDAY – ALL ABOARD
We’ll depart our hotel this morning by motorcoach and travel to our cruise ship where we will board just in time
for lunch.  Our first order of duty will be to locate our luxury stateroom (with outside window) and unpack that
suitcase for the last time this week.  Our first gourmet dinner is tonight on board.

SUNDAY & MONDAY – MAUI (KAHULU)
We arrive here at 8:00 a.m. Sunday and leave at 6 p.m. Monday.  On this island, You may want to take the
tour to the Haleakala Crater.  This journey takes you to the top of the world’s largest dormant volcano.  At the
summit is a vast crater measuring seven-and-a half miles long and two-and-a-half miles wide.  The views from
the top at over 10,000 feet above sea level are magnificent.

TUESDAY -HILO
After sailing all night, we’ll arrive in Hilo at 8 a. m. and stay until 6 p.m. Here you can take an optional narrated
motor coach ride past the famed orchid farms up to the rim of the active Mt. Kilauea Crater.  You’ll see the
Halemaumau Fire Pit, Kalauea Iki Crater and Thurston Lava Tube.  Your last stop – the Mauna Loa
Macadamia Nut Factory!  Hey, did you know that
“Gomer Pyle” (Jim Nabors) now lives in Hawaii and is a “macadamia nut” - farmer?  Well, golleee!!!

WEDNESDAY - KONA
Arriving here at 7:00 a.m. and departing at 6:00 p.m. this is one of my favorite islands.  Here you can tour the
historic city of Kona and along Hawaii’s beautiful sun-drenched Gold Coast.  Stop at a Kona coffee house to
get the “best coffee ever” to drink while browsing thought the shops. The breathtaking views at Kealakekua
Bay and a visit to St. Benedict’s historic painted  Church is a “must-see”.

THURSDAY & FRIDAY  - KAUAI
Here we arrive on Thursday at 8:00 a.m. but we don’t leave until Friday at 2 p.m.  We will actually overnight in
port.  It’s scheduled this way because there is so much to see and do in Kauai.  Be sure to view the
breathtaking forge of Waimea Canyon, often called the Grand Canyon of the Pacific”.  This 10 miles long, one
mile wide and 3,400 feet canyon boasts a spectacular array of rainbow colors mingled with the blues and
greens of lush tropical vegetation. I’ve described just a few of the optional shore tours available on the various
Hawaiian Islands.  Approximately 100 or more will be offered to you on line and on board.

SATURDAY – OAHU  (HONOLULU)
We’ll return to Honolulu Saturday morning, March 9th.    We will be met at the dock by our motorcoach. As, as
mentioned earlier, today we’ll visit the popular Polynesian Cultural Center and Park and
enjoy a delicious Luau this evening.

SUNDAY – OAHU (HONOLULU)
Today we’ll pack up to fly back toward home.  But after an included oceanfront breakfast, we’ll have a
complete tour of Honolulu and Pearl Harbor before traveling to the airport for our evening flight back to Dallas.

MONDAY – DALLAS/FT. WORTH
Back on the mainland, our early morning arrival in Dallas will afford us the opportunity for a mini-tour of Dallas
and Ft. Worth, including at cattle drive thru downtown Fort Worth and the site of the President John Kennedy
assassination.  Later we’ll check into our Dallas hotel for the evening.

TUESDAY - CAMDEN
We’ll depart Dallas this morning and arrive back in Camden at approximately 7 p.m.
(Breakfast included this morning)
