There are several nice hotels in Hot Springs as you would imagine.  But the Arlington is, by far,
the most historic and luxurious of them all.  The Arlington, a tradition since 1875, has hosted
hundreds of colorful balls and social events for nearly 130 years.  Dignitaries, politicians, actors,
and prominent citizens have graced her doors - bathed in her Bath House - danced to her music
and enjoyed the splendor and charm of her stately air.  Names like Al Capone (ask to see his
favorite room – chosen by him so he could see any possible harm that might have been coming
his way), Will Rogers, Kate Smith, Babe Ruth and 100’s of other well-known people just wouldn’
t stay anywhere else.  And, of course, only the best is good enough for
Coffee Break Tours’ travelers.

Here’s A Preview Of Our Day-To-Day Schedule

.·        Friday:    MEET & GREET   Today’s the day we get acquainted with all those folks going
with us. We’ll depart Camden  on our late model coach complete with large picture windows for
unobstructed viewing, reclining seats, individual climate controls, VCR monitors, and a bathroom
for your comfort. We’ll make regular rest stops and a lunch break on our way to
Hot Springs, Arkansas.

After check-in at the historic Arlington Resort Hotel & Spa, we’re off to their famous FRIDAY
NIGHT SEAFOOD BUFFET. (Dinner included tonight)

·        Saturday:  TIME TO RELAX AT MT. IDA’S   If you can force yourself (after that huge
dinner last night) find your way back to the restaurant for your breakfast because we’ve a lot to
do today.  Relax a bit this morning touring this famed historic hotel and downtown Hot Springs.
After lunch we’ll get on our motorcoach and head over to Mt. Ida, Arkansas for an evening of
good old fashioned entertainment.  Everybody will need a lawn chair as we sit just in front of the
famous “front porch” and enjoy live bluegrass, gospel and country music.  You’re certain to long
for yesterday as we take ourselves back to a time long ago, at least, for a little while.

We mentioned that everyone will need a lawn chair for this evening’s shows.  GUESS WHAT?
HOME WITH YOU.  (Breakfast included today)

·        Sunday:  MORE TIME FOR THE ULTIMATE IN RELAXATION   Today we have
scheduled the famous relaxing & therapeutic mineral baths for everyone during our stay at the
Arlington.   This is what Hot Springs is all about.  Not only will you get to experience the
rejuvenating waters of Hot Springs, we’ve even scheduled what they call “The Works” for
everyone.  That includes the mineral bath, sauna, full Swedish massage, and more.  And, yes,
there is even a special package for the men.

Downtown Hot Springs is a vacation treat in itself.  If you can tear yourself away from the luxury
of the Arlington Resort Hotel & Spa, just step outside the front door and explore the shops and
the beauty of Hot Springs. “Oh, so many souvenirs to pick from!”

In addition to “The Works” be prepared for the popular “Sunday Brunch” that awaits you.  It
starts about 10 a.m. and ends when we just can’t hold any more.  Soups, salads, fruits and
berries, poached salmon, imported and domestic cheeses, eggs benedict, carved roast beef,
baked country ham, bacon, sausage, eggs, omelet’s, made to order Belgian waffles and donuts
(made while you watch) and a dessert table that will add at least 5 lbs. on you just for walking
by. Most likely, I’ve forgotten something, but the Chef won’t forget.  This is one of the most
popular dining events in Arkansas.  (Breakfast & Brunch included today).

·        MONDAY:  CAN THERE BE MORE?   This morning we’ll head homeward, but not until we
strap on the “feed bag” again a couple of times again.  First, we’ll have breakfast.  Also, we’re
stopping at the Casey Jones Old Country Store in Jackson for dinner. We’ll arrive back in
Camden around 7 p.m. (Breakfast & dinner included today)
