Park The Car - Climb On The Bus  - It’s Your Vacation – Relax And Enjoy The Week!
.•        Monday:    All aboard! Today’s the day we get acquainted with all those folks going with us.  As always,
we will travel on “BIG RED”, our new motor coach complete with large picture windows for unobstructed
viewing, plush leather reclining seats, hardwood floors, individual climate controls, VCR monitors, free Wi-Fi,
electrical outlets at every seat to keep your electronics charged and a bathroom for your comfort. We’ll make
regular rest stops and a lunch break each day of this tour.  We’ll overnight in Dublin for the next three nights.
(Dinner included tonight)

•        Tuesday:      Today we’ll start with a driving tour of Dublin, discovering little known secrets about Ohio’s
emerald city.  How did Dublin get its name?  What is the “Field of Corn?”  Who was “Leatherlips?”  You’ll
enjoy rich history, funny tales and even a ghost story!

Next, during our scavenger hunt, you discover cultural tidbits about both Dublins (Ohio & Ireland) while
wandering the quaint shops of the historic districts.  You’ll search for answers to Irish trivia questions while
sampling chocolates and freshly baked scones and visiting an Irish import shop and tasting Irish teas.  Lots of
treats and treasures along the way.

What’s a reel?  How did Irish step dancing evolve into the celebrated “Riverdance” style recognized today?
We’ll visit one of the foremost Irish dance schools in North America and meet a profession Irish dance
instructor who danced with the famous Michael Flatley’s of Lord of the Dance. You’ll learn the answers to
these and more questions while watching some young, costumed dancers engage in some fancy footwork.

Next we’ll visit with Cait Seo Rua, the daughter-in-law of “Pat Murphy” who is the guest of honor at an old-
style Wake.  She will guide us through the customs and folkways of this curious and disappearing three-day
tradition as it would have been around 1898.

Then we’ll enjoy a taste of Old Ireland – (several of them, actually) while watching a cooking demonstration at
Salud!  Cooking & Lifestyles School.  You’ll delight with a full gourmet meal rich in the tastes and traditions of
the old country including an Irish-inspired dessert.

And today’s not over yet.  After dinner hear the tale of an 1830’s era Irish immigrant.  You will meet Sean O’
Shaughnessy and be moved by his story of leaving Ireland with his young bride and arriving in America – the
land of golden opportunity. Now it’s back to our hotel.  We’ve had a busy day today and lots of fun scheduled
for tomorrow.  (Breakfast & dinner included today)

•        Wednesday:    We had a full day yesterday and can sleep in a bit this morning.  This is the perfect time
to enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and go outside and walk about the beautiful hotel property.

After lunch we’ll visit a Candle Lab.  In this hands-on experience, you will embrace the smells of spring in
Ireland as you pour your own long burning, higher quality candle using soy wax, cotton paper wicks and pure
fragrance oils.  You’ll create a lovely candle for yourself with customized label to take home.

We’ll take an afternoon break at Graeter’s Ice Cream and learn the secret “French Pot” method that makes
this icecream “Oprah’s favorite”.

And, what about dinner tonight.  Well, it’s very special.  Our “Sunny Irish Dinner” event will let you start with
Craggaunowen Chicken and Corn Beef & Cabbage and ending with Irish apple cake, all the while being
entertained by Irish dancers with guitar and fiddle music. (Breakfast & Dinner)

•        Thursday:  This morning we’ll have a hearty breakfast at our hotel and head southward to Louisville,
Kentucky where we will overnight.  And, tonight we will visit a local dinner theater for their bountiful buffet and
marvelous production of The Wizard of OZ..  (Breakfast & dinner theater included today)

Friday:    This morning we board up and head homeward. We’ll arrive back in Camden by 4 p.m. Today’s
the day to relive all the good memories we’ve had this week.  And what about that food?  (Breakfast included)
