Have you ever seen the French Quarters? Do you like real Dixieland jazz? Have you ever taken a "swamp
boat" ride into the bayou? Have you ever had coffee in the French Market? Have you ever tried real New
Orleans style food? Have you ever had a beignet? All of this & more is in store during this New Orleans
Adventure Tour.
PLUS, FOUR (4) PEOPLE ON THIS TOUR WILL WIN A $25.00 GIFT CARD THAT YOU
CAN USE AT RED LOBSTER OR OLIVE GARDEN!

Monday – June 24th     -  We'll depart Camden from our departure location at the Wal-Mart store, Highway
641 N. on BIG RED, our brand new luxury motorcoach with comfortable reclining leather seats, hardwood
floors, FREE Wi-Fi, electrical plugs at every seat, PA system, DVD player and a bathroom for your comfort.
We'll arrive in New Orleans early evening at our French Quarters area hotel. After a delicious dinner, we’ll
check into our comfortable hotel near the French Quarters for a restful evening.  And, with all we have
planned for Tuesday, we’ll sure need our energy.  (Meals furnished today: Dinner)

Tuesday – June 25th   -    After our delicious hot breakfast, we'll board our coach for a full day of adventure.
This morning we’ll board swamp boats and listen to our hearts pound as we creep into the still waters of the
Louisiana wetlands.  From the comfort and safety of our boats, we’ll travel deep into the bayous and learn
about the fascinating people who make their homes in the swamps and the animals that live there.  Bring your
camera and lots of film.  We should encounter egrets, white-tailed deer, mink, nutria, and, of course, we’ve
never been on a swamp tour without meeting face to face, eye ball to eye ball, nose to nose, jaw to jaw with
those “nice, friendly and handsome” gators.

We’re having a very special lunch “picnic style” while we’re “up close” to the Gators. Next, after lunch, which
is included in your tour price, we’ll arranged a very special tour of New Orleans.  From the French Quarters to
the wealthy Garden District to the Katrina destroyed “9th Ward” we’ll see it all.
We will point out Fats Domino’s “almost destroyed” home in the area.

Whew! What a day.  Now you'll have time to explore the French Quarters & the French Market, or Harrah's
Casino as the rest of the evening is free for you to enjoy the “Flavors of New Orleans”.  Would you like to see
Brad Pitts and Angelino Jolie’s home?  Why not?  It’s just a few steps away from the  French Market in the
Quarters.  (Meals:  Breakfast , Lunch)

Wednesday – June 26th   -  All aboard this morning as we take you to one of the most  beautiful and popular
tourist spots outside of New Orleans.  We’ll visit the Destrehan Plantation, built in 1787.  You’ll just want to
stay and “sit a spell” under the huge Live Oak trees. This afternoon we’ve arranged more free time in the
French Quarters.  Maybe you didn’t have time to get some of those Beignet or missed out on taking one of the
horse drawn carriage rides arounds the French Quarters; now’s the time.  Do you like shopping for antiques?
The French Quarters is more than T-Shirts.  Take a stroll down Royal and drop in to the antique shops.
Want to visit the World War II Museum.  It’s just down the street.
Another street you might like to stroll down is at Riverwalk; one of my favorite places.
Then tonight it’s our dinner cruise on the Mississippi.  Wonderful food – Wonderful Dixieland Jazz – and, well,
just Wonderful Views as we sail the Mississippi. Built in 1925, it’s the last authentic steamboat still sailing the
Mississippi.  (Meals:  B & D)

Thursday – June 27th    - Today will finish our memorable journey arriving in Camden at approximately 7 p.m.
allowing us plenty of time for movies, games with door prizes and, of course, a good nap or two. (Meals:  B)
