Wednesday, August 18 & Thursday August 19  - Another big breakfast is in store for us before we head to
LAS VEGAS.  You’ve heard about it, you’ve seen it on TV, but today it’s really real.  We’ll spend the next two
evenings at the 2nd largest convention hotel anywhere, The Excalibur Hotel.  At the Excalibur, you’re not just
getting a room, you’re getting an entire kingdom.  Cross the drawbridge and experience the adventure of ‘days
of yore”.  You’ll definitely be treated like royalty as you surround yourself with all the amenities this hotel has
to offer.  There’s 24-hour room service, two sparkling pools & water slides to enjoy also.  Good fortune may
find you in the 100,000 square foot casino, or you may wanat to do what I do, spend most of your time at the
“Roundtable Buffet”.  Remember, nobody counted calories in the 12th century.  And not everybody goes to
Las Vegas to gamble.  There’s so much more to do with all the shows and entertainment venues.  In the hotel
there’s the “Tournament of Kings Dinner Show and all the shops.

It’s like a shopping mall inside this hotel.  Want to renew your vow – or get married ?  No shortage or wedding
chapels here.  Step outside our hotel and onto the strip and there are dozens of other hotels and casino and
big name stars performing each and every night.
In addition to all of the opportunities to spend your money, there are also many exciting attractions in Las
Vegas that are FREE.  The Bellagio Fountains burst into action every 15 minutes at night.  This water display
is perfectly choreographed from showtunes to the opera.  Also inside the Bellagio Hotel is the Conservatory
and the ornate glass dome which is a “must see”.  At the Mirage Hotel you can witness the Mirage Volcano as
it comes alive with fire, smoke & sonic eruptions every fifteen minutes.  At the TI – Theasure Island, you can
enjoy a battle royale between bands of pirates and sexy sirens.  Enjoy your day to the fullest.  Your room
awaits you whenever you want to return to the Excalibur. (Meals:  Wednesday (B)

Our afternoon in Las Vegas Wednesday and all day Thursday is free time to enjoy as you wish.  Some of you
may like to go to Hoover Dam.  So we will take the bus to Hoover Dam Wednesday .  Since we don’t know
who will want to go and who will not, we have not added  the cost of admission to everyone’s tour price.  Each
person who goes can pay upon arrival.  The admission cost is approximately $11 per person.
Friday, August 20  / Saturday, August 21 / Sunday, August 22 - We'll leave Las Vegas Friday morning pointing
our coach homeward.  We’ll overnight again in Albuquerque on Friday night (Meals Friday (B & D).  Saturday
