We’ll travel on our luxury motorcoach with reclining seats, large picture windows, VCR monitor, PA system, and, an on board rest room for your comfort. Our hotels will always be first class since we stay at Three & Four Star rated hotel properties such as Sheraton, Marriott properties as well as Holiday Inns, Hampton Inns and Drury Inn & Suites and similar properties. We never stay at low-end budget motels. Most meals are included in your tour price, and you can book your reservation in confidence because with our optional Travel Protection Coverage, should you have to cancel for a covered illness or other covered family emergency, or have to leave the tour for similar reasons, you will get a refund with no deductibles. Saturday, August 14 - We'll leave Camden from our departure location at the Wal-Mart store, Highway 641 N. in Camden at 7:00 a..m . Each day we will take several rest breaks along the way as well as a lunch break. Tonight we will overnight in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Meal Codes – Breakfast (B) – Lunch (L) – Dinner (D) - (Meals Included Today: D) Sunday, August 15 After our delicious breakfast, we'll board our coach for a full day of adventure. We will continue traveling west thru Oklahoma, thru the panhandle of Texas. We’ll stop for lunch in Amarillo and proceed on to Albuquerque, New Mexico where we’ll overnight. Today the western scenery will start to amaze you especially as we enter New Mexico. (Meals today: B & D) Monday, August 16 – This morning we’ll enjoy another hot breakfast before we depart for an exciting day of sightseeing. Soon after leaving our hotel we’ll arrive at the beautiful area call the “Painted Desert”. We’ll have several “photo stops” here. From the Painted Desert we’ll enter another wonder of nation, the “Petrified Forest”. Again, plenty of “photo stops” where we can actually touch the fallen trees that have been petrified and preserved for millions of years. What a day of beautiful that God has given us. And now it’s back on the coach as we head to the Grand Canyon area where we will overnight in Arizona. (Meals today: B & D) Tuesday, August 17 - As they say, “You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet”! Today’s the day for the Grand Canyons and the beautiful Red Rock Formations in and around Sedona, Arizona. Bring lots of film today. We on our way to the beautiful South Rim of the Grand Canyon, the most photographed area of the canyons where you’ll have plenty of time to take in the beauty of this amazing sight. We’ve also planned your lunch time in the canyons where you can either eat at the Bright Angel Lodge restaurant or at a snack bar and sit overlooking the canyons.. After lunch we’ll travel to Sedona, Arizona. Sedona has been called “The Most Beautiful Place On Earth” and we’ll not only have plenty of free time to enjoy the shops and have dinner here, but we’ve got a beautiful resort hotel with magnificent views of the Red Rock Valley right in downtown Sedona where we will overnight. (Meals today: B) Wednesday, August 18 & Thursday August 19 - Another big breakfast is in store for us before we head to LAS VEGAS. You’ve heard about it, you’ve seen it on TV, but today it’s really real. We’ll spend the next two evenings at the 2nd largest convention hotel anywhere, The Excalibur Hotel. At the Excalibur, you’re not just getting a room, you’re getting an entire kingdom. Cross the drawbridge and experience the adventure of ‘days of yore”. You’ll definitely be treated like royalty as you surround yourself with all the amenities this hotel has to offer. There’s 24-hour room service, two sparkling pools & water slides to enjoy also. Good fortune may find you in the 100,000 square foot casino, or you may wanat to do what I do, spend most of your time at the “Roundtable Buffet”. Remember, nobody counted calories in the 12th century. And not everybody goes to Las Vegas to gamble. There’s so much more to do with all the shows and entertainment venues. In the hotel there’s the “Tournament of Kings Dinner Show and all the shops. It’s like a shopping mall inside this hotel. Want to renew your vow – or get married ? No shortage or wedding chapels here. Step outside our hotel and onto the strip and there are dozens of other hotels and casino and big name stars performing each and every night. In addition to all of the opportunities to spend your money, there are also many exciting attractions in Las Vegas that are FREE. The Bellagio Fountains burst into action every 15 minutes at night. This water display is perfectly choreographed from showtunes to the opera. Also inside the Bellagio Hotel is the Conservatory and the ornate glass dome which is a “must see”. At the Mirage Hotel you can witness the Mirage Volcano as it comes alive with fire, smoke & sonic eruptions every fifteen minutes. At the TI – Theasure Island, you can enjoy a battle royale between bands of pirates and sexy sirens. Enjoy your day to the fullest. Your room awaits you whenever you want to return to the Excalibur. (Meals: Wednesday (B) SPECIAL INFO ABOUT HOOVER DAM Our afternoon in Las Vegas Wednesday and all day Thursday is free time to enjoy as you wish. Some of you may like to go to Hoover Dam. So we will take the bus to Hoover Dam Wednesday . Since we don’t know who will want to go and who will not, we have not added the cost of admission to everyone’s tour price. Each person who goes can pay upon arrival. The admission cost is approximately $11 per person. Friday, August 20 / Saturday, August 21 / Sunday, August 22 - We'll leave Las Vegas Friday morning pointing our coach homeward. We’ll overnight again in Albuquerque on Friday night (Meals Friday (B & D). Saturday we’ll continue on to Shawnee, OK where we will again overnight. We might just have one or more Mystery Stops planned during these days.
