April 2 – April 7, 2011

“Well, it’s about time”, someone told us the other day.  A lot of you over the years have asked if we’ll ever go
to Washington, D.C. during the beautiful Cherry Blossom Festival.

We’ve not done this in the past, because it’s almost impossible to get nice hotel rooms in
Washington during the Festival.

To get group rooms during this week, sometime you have to reserve them
a year or more out, which is what we did.

Look At All We’ve Got Planned For You This Week!

Washington, D. C. welcomes the arrival of spring with the National Cherry Blossom Festival, a tradition
highlighted with trees that the city of Tokyo
gave to our nation’s capital.

The blossoming cherry trees, with their vibrant pale pink and white flowers were first enjoyed back in 1912.  Of
course, our tours will bring us “up close and personal” with these beautiful trees.

Obviously we cannot list all of the sights that you will see,
but the following is a sample of what we’ve planned for you:
The White House   ●   The U. S. Capitol Building   ●   The New World War II Memorial
The Lincoln & FDR Memorials   ●   Jefferson Memorial     ●   The National Cathedral
The Vietnam & Korean Veterans Memorial    ●   The Kennedy Center
The Washington Monument    The Pentagon   ●   The  Arlington National Cemetery
●   And One Full Day Set Aside To Enjoy The Smithsonian Museums
●    And, much more!

We’ll also visit:
Monticello (Home of President Thomas Jefferson)  & Michie’s Tavern   ●

·        Saturday:  We’ll leave Camden at 8 a.m. As always, our late model coach will be complete with large
picture windows for unobstructed viewing, reclining seats, individual climate controls, VCR monitors, and a
bathroom for your comfort. We’ll make regular rest stops and a lunch break each day of this tour.  Tonight we’
ll enjoy a dinner and overnight in Virginia.  (Dinner included tonight)

·        Sunday – Monday & Tuesday:    Sunday morning we’ll head to Washington, D. C. where we’ll visit the
locations listed on the front of this brochure during Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.  A local certified guide will
join us to whisk us around town and share their knowledge and wisdom of the area. We’ll depart our coach for
many of the attractions (Memorials-Museums-Arlington Cemetery, etc.)  Other sights will be pointed out as we
drive by.  We will also stop to make photos of the White House and the U. S. Capitol Building.   In addition to
the locations mentioned above, we have scheduled a full “free-day” for you to enjoy several of the
Smithsonian Museums. (Breakfast & dinner included each day).

·        Wednesday:  This morning we’ll leave Washington for Charlottesville, VA where we’ll visit Monticello, the
home of President Thomas Jefferson.  Afterwards, lunch will be at the historic Michie Tavern, famous since
the 1700’s and a favorite of President Jefferson.  . We’ll overnight in Roanoke, VA.
(All three meals included today)

●        Thursday:  Unfortunately, we’ll have to head home. We’ll depart Virginia Thursday morning for home
with an estimated arrival time in Camden at approximately 6 p.m. Today we’ll watch movies, play games, and
give away door prizes while we travel toward home. (Breakfast included today)
